Did you know that the 1st of October is World Vegetarian Day? Kicking off Vegetarian Awareness Month for the entire month of October.

World Vegetarian Awareness Month brings awareness to the ethical, environmental, health, and humanitarian benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle.

While of course it’s not mandatory to eat a vegetarian diet if you practice yoga, there are many reasons why yogis choose to forgo meat and poultry. Nourishing yourself with fruits, vegetables, legumes, beans, and grains is no doubt healthy for the body and mind.
