When you are blessed with blue skies and sunshine, and surrounded by positive affirmations and palm trees, you feel a tremendous sense of gratitude for life. A 200 years old rustic ranch that has been in the family for at least three generations was transformed into an agroturismo by owners and husband and wife team Tina and Lucas, along with a local architect who spent three years creating their luxurious boutique spa hotel with 20 rooms.
We started our days with a healthy breakfast on the patio that lasted all morning. The heavenly smell of wild jasmine and the pastel pink, peach and orange colours of the beautiful bougainvillea flowers awoke our senses.
The Balinese daybeds laced in white provided the ideal daytime cocoon with dips in the pool to cool off from the warm September sunshine.
There is a spa with a Finnish sauna and Can Lluc have joined forces with Ibiza Massages to offer a menu of tailor-made massages and treatments that take place within the Zen garden area.
The sunsets and the moon rises were magical and memorable against the backdrop of the harmonious nature. There is a path you can walk up until you reach a little pagoda in the hills from which you have magnificent views of the San Rafael valley and all the way out to San Antonio Bay.
In the evenings you can choose to eat at the on site restaurant that attracts many locals and serves home grown, organic and locally sourced food and wine from their own vineyard. Or if you want to head into Ibiza town, it’s only a fifteen minute drive away so you never get that feeling that you are somewhere completely remote and in the middle of nowhere! We slept well, even after a late night as the beds were extremely comfortable and the rare noises that could be heard were those of Mother Nature.
