10am – 12.45pm Ayurvedic Workshop: Creating New Health Habits wtih Sunita Passi of Tri-Dosha Ltd.

Sunita Passi is a renowned specialist in Ayurvedic medicine, an award-winning skincare entrepreneur and a wellness visionary who has spent 20 years shaping an alternative future for healing and health.

As founder and CEO of the Tri-Dosha Ayurvedic training and skincare business, Sunita cuts through the mystique surrounding complementary medicine, advocating for Ayurveda as the world’s oldest cohesive approach.

At a time when physical and mental health have never been more in the spotlight, her belief that it’s time to heal healthcare and take greater responsibility for our own well-being is a call to action that needs to be heard.

This workshop is the first of a tour of 6 events presented by the author of The Doctor Won’t See You Now | Staying healthy while the medical system is re-booted.

We are in the middle of a big transformation. We are seeing the crumbling of the old paradigm of fear, worry and scarcity and we are being guided to get a greater sense of who we are. One element of this is we are naturally moving towards having a greater sense of authority of our own health and wellbeing.

As everything shifts, this workshop will help you to find ways to keep and stay calm, eat healthily and also learn why eating healthy is so important for our bodies. The talk will be split into three sections: An intro to Ayurveda with inspiring slides, a guided meditation focusing on the elements of ether, air, fire, water earth and a deep dive into the authors book with a book signing.

3 – 4pm: Yin Yoga for Resilience with Patricia Creola

Having trained in Ayurveda, Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Meditation, Reiki and Massage Therapies, Patricia has created a practice that will help you stay grounded and balanced yet recharge your batteries so that you feel stronger and resilient.

This Yin Practice focuses on the Kidney and Bladder Meridians (energy channels) which are the foundation of balance for all other organs and are our storehouse of vital energy.

According to traditional Chinese Medicine, within our kidneys lives our Jing, also called essence. Jing is said to be the foundation of all life and the key to longevity.

Now through life and circumstances such as stress or illness we can deplete our Jing and through practices such as Yin Yoga we can accumulate Jing.

During this practice we stimulate these energy channels (Meridians) by both stretching or compressing the targeted areas of the body. By holding a pose for up to 5 minutes we allow enough time for a shift to happen, on a physical, mental and emotional level, without pushing the body but by simply staying as passive as possible.

The aim of this practice is for you to replenish your energy and build resilience while staying grounded and relaxed. No yoga experience needed. Optional: bring a cushion and/or blanket along.
