Replenish, Revitalise and Reconnect in harmony with the changing seasons and changing times – from the comfort of your home.

Treat yourself to a restorative ‘At Home’ Yoga Retreat exploring Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Breath work, (Pranayama), Meditation and a deeply nourishing and relaxing Yoga Nidra.

You’ll enjoy an afternoon of total immersion in yoga, meditation and relaxation, whilst still having time for breaks, healthy snacks, fresh air and the opportunity to ask questions and chat generally about our practice.

“ The perfect opportunity to learn how to turn your home into a sanctuary of self care, get access to easy healthy recipes, a ready made play list and so much more. This was of value before I even did the class that was expertly led. Michelle’s guidance came in such a timely way that it was like she was reading my mind! — Susie R – Online Yoga Retreat – July 2020

We’ll start the afternoon with a welcome, setting our intentions for ourselves before we get straight into our first yoga session:

75 minute dynamic and rejuvenating flow. (There’ll be modifications for beginners and the more advanced – ensuring the practice suits everyone).

15 minute break: Following our practice, we’ll break for 15 minutes – (healthy snack time*).

30 minute breath-work: Exploring the power of pranayama.

45 minute yin/restorative yoga practice: Slowing down our practice to focus on getting present and deep release.

30 minute meditation / yoga nidra – final relaxation: The ultimate deep yogic sleep to allow you and your body to absorb all of your practice, restore, replenish and nourish mind, body and spirit.

Whilst the afternoon will flow (and fly by), I’ve built in time to allow some time for questions and rest breaks, between each session – so your ‘At Home’ Retreat is replenishing and relaxing.

PLUS… some added treats:

Recipes: I’ll send you a range of healthy recipes for dinner and snack ideas so if you wish, you can create some healthy dishes and snacks to enjoy during and after your yoga retreat.

Goody bag: I’ll also send you an ‘At Home’ Retreat Goody Bag*. (Provided you book at least 7 days in advance)*.

Playlist and Checklist: You’ll also receive my Online Yoga Retreat Checklist to ensure you’re all sorted with everything you need to enjoy your online retreat from home from a tech perspective. And I’ll share my specially formulated ‘At Home Retreat’ Spotify playlist – so you can enjoy some perfect music too.

The retreat will open with a wonderful upbeat and energising hatha vinyasa flow practice. For those that don’t know what I’m talking about – don’t worry, it’s a revitalising blend of movement, stretch, strengthening and breathing – adapted to whether you’re a beginner or well practiced. Your body will love this practice for sure.

We’ll then break for a light snack before we gather to explore the power of some pranayama breathing practices.

Feeling relaxed, we’ll take our time to unravel and release with a slower deeply releasing restorative yin yoga session – giving ourselves time to find some stillness and let the breath do its work on replenishing our bodies and minds.

We’ll close our practice with a deeply relaxing guided mediation – a ‘yoga nidra’, (yogic sleep), a restorative and deeply nourishing relaxation practice.

Beginners are very welcome. There will be modifications and different options for all levels of practice.

The Online ‘At Home’ Retreat will be delivered via Zoom, so an internet connection and laptop, ipad or mobile phone will be required to connect to Zoom to stream the LIVE online retreat. I recommend a laptop or desktop so that you have a larger screen to engage via.

Cost: £35.00 per retreat.

Yoga Central

Yoga Central is where I, Michelle Carvill - friendly yoga teacher (amongst many other things such as author, digital agency owner, preventative healthcare champion and digital educator) - share my yoga class information and my yoga teaching insights, inspiration and musings. I've been practising yoga for over 27 years and have practised a variety of styles - including Hatha, Astanga, Iyengar, Anasura, Vinyasa Flow, Yin - however, to me, it's all Yoga. I'm often asked what style of yoga I teach? My style is very much a blend of everything I've learned from my teachers and my own self practice over the years. My classes vary week to week, often with how I’m feeling, the seasons, the weather, the energy - but there's always usually some form of flow. Hence why I call it ‘go with the flow’ yoga. My inspiration for classes comes from my students - how they are feeling, their energy - and their ability. We're all different - and my yoga is for 'every' 'body'. Since March 2020 I’ve taken my yoga teaching online. People from around the country (and the world!) are now able to join in - which is great. So if you’d like to join in too - simply see my Yoga Classes for timetable or my Online Yoga Retreats for dates.
