Fast Track Fitness Retreats are heading to the New Forest for our 2021 autumn retreat. Mews Hill in Fordingbridge is a lovely cottage in the heart of the countryside with plenty of open space for our classes as well as a lovely fire in the lounge. All bedrooms are twin, double or king and guests do not have to share unless they wish to do so. Ensuite bathrooms.
There is plenty of parking at Mews Hill if you are driving or if you prefer then catch the train out of London Waterloo (journey time approx 1h45 mins) and we will pick you up from the station.
All meals will be prepared by our professional chef, Toby and we focus on wholesome, healthy food. Toby specialises in pastry and desserts and so we are sure there will be some lovely desserts too.
We offer a range of activities over the course of the retreat and we will be outside as much as we can for boxing, HIIT, circuits, trail running and yoga.
We will be heading to the beach on day three for paddle boarding ( or beach circuits if you don’t fancy getting on the water) and if the weather is fine there will be yoga on the beach too before a hike along the cliffs at Barton on Sea, taking a break for some delicious cake at the cafe on the cliff top.
Each day is full of activity but we timetable plenty of relaxation time each afternoon so you can explore the area or just rest and relax at the cottage.
Jane, Dan and Tony are all YMCA qualified fitness instructors. They started Fast Track Fitness Retreats in 2019 and have run three day as well as single day retreats and more recently zoom retreats in the pandemic. They all have a passion for making fitness fun and accessible.
The cost of the retreat is £600pp and includes all classes, food and snacks over the course of the retreat. There is a discount for couples or friends sharing a room. Dan and Tony are also both qualified massage therapists and offer an hour’s massage for £40.00.
8th October – check in and meet and greet the team and enjoy a “getting to know you walk” in the countryside. There will then be a supple strength class which is a mixture of yoga and pilates, before dinner. If the weather is a bit chilly the fire will be on and you can relax in the lounge.
9th October – Pre breakfast HIIT, trail running after breakfast followed by a ViPR and weights team session which is always enormous fun!
We reconvene in the late afternoon for boxing and then yoga before dinner.
10th October. We begin the day with pre breakfast circuits and then head to the beach for paddle boarding ( or beach circuits if you don’t want to get on the water). After fun on the water there will be yoga on the beach if the weather permits followed by a picnic lunch and then a hike.
We then head back to the cottage for yoga before dinner.
The last day sees us begin the day with a circuits class before breakfast and then goodbyes before heading home.
