Our 200-hour YTT is where it all begins. This course offers a robust introduction to the Lakshmi Rising Hatha Vinyasa Flow method in an intensive, transformational environment.

Lakshmi Rising’s YTT encompasses our mission of education, empowerment, and evolution; draws from many traditions; and emphasises more than the physical practice of yoga. We are where sweat, strength, flexibility, and fun meet softness, quiet, introspection, and self-love.

And we work with your schedule! Students can choose from two options: a 21-day immersion intensive or a 14-day immersion intensive followed by supplemental online coursework that can be completed within one year.

Opt for a 21-day intensive, and you’ll be ready to register with Yoga Alliance as soon as you return home. Don’t have that much time? If you choose the 14-day option, you’ll spend two weeks in intensive study in a luxurious environment, then finish the course remotely—at your own pace, and from anywhere.

The Lakshmi Rising Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program is unique, transformative, and highly regarded worldwide. Lakshmi Rising Hatha Vinyasa Yoga is an awareness-based practice that includes fluid, dynamic asana, kriya, pranayama, mantra, meditation, dance, wellness, self-care, and ritual for optimal health and personal growth. Our method is a revitalising approach to develop mindful self-awakening and cultivate strength and flexibility on all levels through the practice of yoga.

We delve into the philosophy of yoga, different styles of meditation, the art of ritual and creating sacred space, ayurveda, anatomy of the physical and energetic bodies, the business of yoga and more. Not only will you deepen your own practice and self awareness, you will come away from this experience with all of the tools necessary to begin teaching and sharing your passion.


Villa Blanca is a grand manor with views over the Mediterranean sea, ideally located near Barcelona and Costa Brava. Built in 1909, it is a luxury family-owned property with lots of old world charm and history.

Conveniently located in a prestigious and isolated residential area and is perfect for our yoga teacher training, not to mention the wonderful beach of S. Vicenç de Montalt is only 5 minutes walking distance and has been awarded the Blue Flag for its high quality standards and cleanliness. This 2km long beach is full of “tapas chiringuitos,” and did we mention, is only a 5 min walk away from our property!

The common areas are full of charm, coziness and mesmerising views. The manor is styled with belle époque modernist furniture and architecture with enchanting ceiling-high libraries, chill-out areas with comfortable seating, and even a 1909 Steinway Piano that has been refurbished to mint condition!

For our 3 daily gourmet meals, we will be dining al fresco as well as in the indoor dining hall, large enough for 32 people, while we enjoy our Gaia Gourmet cuisine. There’s even a conference room with 65” smart TV for our yoga lectures

During our breaks we will fall in love with their breathtaking gardens. This beautiful villa is surrounded by 5 hectares of romantic gardens designed by the famous architect Jean-Baptiste N. Forestier.

Enjoy a relaxing walk through these magnificent, well-kept gardens with beautiful views to the Mediterranean which are full of hundred-year-old pine trees, oaks, palm trees and small ponds. And if this is not enough, there’s a large swimming pool of 17x7m is perfect for a midday dip!

Posture Clinic & Practice Teaching – students will be teaching Asana, Pranayama and chanting with partners and in groups, openly giving & receiving feedback. Each student must create & teach a 30 minute class to be critiqued by instructors and peers.

Liz Lindh is a licensed and board certified Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, a NCCAOM diplomate in Chinese Herbal Medicine, a holistic skincare therapist and natural beauty expert, and yoga teacher and teacher trainer. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and a Masters of Oriental Medicine degree from the East West College of Natural Medicine.

She is currently the director of The Sanctuary at Two Rivers, a unique eco-conscious yoga and wellness retreat and yoga teacher training certification centre in Costa Rica. Here she created Lakshmi Rising School for Yoga and Wellness through which she offers Yoga Alliance approved Yoga Teacher Training certification programs and other wellness trainings throughout the year.

Dr. Lindh has has treated Oscar nominated and Golden Globe winning actors and directors, Grammy Award winning musicians, authors, dancers and artists of all sorts to inspire creativity, beauty and focus. She has worked with professional athletes in the field of sports medicine for injury treatment and prevention and enhanced performance.

Her extensive experience in Integrative Medicine includes research and treatment of stroke patients at Health South Rehabilitation Hospital, touring with a rock band as their private acupuncturist, presentations on complementary and alternative medicine at the University of Miami, the development and implementation of a therapeutic yoga, meditation and wellness program for cancer survivors through an international non-profit support group, the creation of a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training curriculum approved by the National Yoga Alliance, and the formulation of her own line of herbal elixirs and beauty products.

Liz’s mission is to promote personal and global healing, to enhance the expansion of love, awareness and consciousness, and to support the wellbeing of all creatures.

Brittany Lynne

Brittany is a yoga & mindfulness teacher who leads classes, workshops, retreats and trainings internationally. She is a frequent guest teacher alongside Dr. Liz Lindh at Lakshmi Rising School for Yoga and Wellness. After recognizing the power and life-changing effects of a regular asana & meditation practice in her own life, Brittany shifted a career in photography and film into one of sharing the practices that led her to a healthier and happier lifestyle.

Brittany has studied Power Vinyasa, Hatha, Tantra, Restorative and Yin yoga, meditation, mindfulness, sound healing, breathwork and Yoga Nidra in California and Costa Rica. She has worked with prominent companies in Los Angeles including TOMS Shoes, Thrive Market, Manduka, Microsoft, Lionsgate, Murad, Belkin and Simple Human to bring mindfulness and meditation practices into the workplace. She also teaches online classes through Inner Dimension TV and her own website, beautifullyawakening.com.

Below is a sample schedule (with slight changes depending upon the location and duration) that will give you a great idea of what your two or three weeks will look like while enjoying your training.

What to pack

You need to bring a yoga mat, a block and strap, water bottle (there is delicious natural spring water available for us), at least two notebooks, a journal, several pens in different colours, flashlight with batteries, sturdy hiking shoes, insect repellant, eco-friendly personal care products (lavender, peppermint and tea tree essential oils come in handy), first aid necessities (arnica, sore muscle balm, ibuprofen, motion sickness medicine, allergy medicine and bandages may be useful), easy to store snacks like dried fruits, nuts and nut butters (we provide fresh fruit and three meals most days but bring extra if you think you will need it), and Euro for excursions and massages.

How to get here

We will help coordinate group transportation between Barcelona and Villa Blanca and cost will depend on the amount of people riding together.

We will check-in on Sunday, October 24 at 4:00pm and check-out time is 10:00am on Saturday, November 13 (or Saturday, November 6, for 14-day YTTs). All participants are responsible to organise their own travel inbound and onward from Spain.
