What past guests have said
Sep 2020 • Friends
An excellent few days away, packed with relaxation, yoga, treatments, workshops, walks, fun and fabulous food. A truly wonderful and warm host Maggie made us feel welcome from the beginning and she looked after us all. Yummy homemade cake waiting for us in the afternoons, and a delicious 3 course meal in the evenings.
Can’t wait to book again on the next one. Just what I needed.
Sep 2020 • Solo
I loved the retreat from start to finish, but in particular, the yoga was great, the paddle boarding was exciting, the voice workshop was interesting, and I also loved the waterfalls and the lake that we went to. Oh and the food, flawless. I left feeling refreshed, regenerated and ready to take on the world!
Thank you Maggie. You were perfect.
The best kind of therapy – relaxation and fun

We had the most wonderful time at our Sunset Bay retreat, cannot recommend it highly enough. It was a perfect three days of relaxation, delicious food, varied activities arranged around excellent yoga sessions and fabulous treatments. Maggie was so accommodating and organised everything for us beautifully, a lovely stay of therapy and fun. Book!
What to pack
- Hiking / Walking Boots
- Comfortable Trainers
- Thick Socks
- Waterproof Jacket – Preferably with a hood/ waterproof hat.
- Breathable materials such as Sympatex or Goretex will feel more comfortable.
- Waterproof Trousers
- Warm Fleece / Sweatshirt
- Sunhat, Sunglasses, Sunscreen
- Small Rucksack (big enough to carry waterproofs, essential medication, water, camera, phone, extra bits of clothes, socks)
- Water Bottle
- Plasters / blister treatment plasters
For Yoga / Pilates – Comfortable loose clothing. We will provide all mats etc, but please feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
For Paddle boarding – Swimsuit – All wetsuits supplied by the company, there will be one session provided per person during the retreat lasting 2 hours.
Indoor Slippers or Flip Flops (No outdoor shoes in the main house)
Swimsuit for the hot tub!
Please pack appropriately for the weather in June. For cold days wear we recommend several layers of light clothing are better than one thick layer. The multiple layer system allows you to add or remove layers as conditions dictate. The base layer, closest to your skin, should allow you to sweat without becoming wet. Fleece is an ideal intermediate layer.
The outer layer should be windproof and waterproof with breathable fabrics being preferred. 3 – 5 layers are quite normal on your upper body. Two layers, underwear and trousers/shorts are generally enough on your lower body. Please bring comfortable clothing for relaxing when not taking part in activities.
