The retreat is a full immersion into the calmness and wildness of an eco-friendly villa located on the Pakleni Islands — an archipelago of Hvar island.

You will have the luxury of waking up with the background melodies of crickets and waves and enjoying picking home-grown veggies from the garden.

The program’s core parts are daily yoga practices and meditations — nevertheless relaxing massages, boat trips, and long swims at the exotic Adriatic coast.

Vinyasa Yoga is our daily routine but this retreat as well includes — daily Pranayama and meditation sessions, massages, dinner with a local family, a boat trip around Pakleni islands, discovering Hvar island and walking meditations.

Retreat schedule

Day 1 — ARRIVAL + INTRODUCTION CIRCLE
We will meet at the Hvar’s island main square and then head with the boat towards our Pakleni island house.
After you settle down in the rooms, we will have an introduction circle to set intentions for the upcoming week.
Our first day will conclude with a homemade dinner served at the terrace immersed in green.

Day 2 — YOGA + MASSAGE
We will wake up very early for catching the first sunrise rays while practicing pranayama breathing. You are free to join us later for refreshments, before the yoga class with Sasha.

After our awakening body practice, it is a time for taking a long and lazy brunch and recharging. The afternoon is reserved for the free massage and leisure time —read the book in your hammock, take a long swim or have a walk on the island. At sunset, Sasha will hold a guided meditation on the shore of the sea.

Once we arrive back, our islander super moms will wait for us with dinner.

Day 3 — YOGA + MEDITATION WALK
Your morning will start in the same way as on Day 2.
The afternoon is reserved for a meditation walk through the island — a silent walk intended to enable you to connect deeply with the natural elements of water, air and earth. I believe this island has a special energy, so I can’t wait to hear your impressions! Once back home, we will be again graced with a delicious dinner.

Day 4 — YOGA + ISLAND HOPPING
Morning pranayama, snacks, gentle yoga flow practice and ‘lazy brunch’ time is our routine you already know, but today our afternoon will be more sporty and dynamic.

For the afternoon is planned a boat trip around the island, visiting the ancient Roman ruins full of mosaic ornaments, enjoying a mud bath known for healing effects, and snorkelling in a hidden bay. Before dinner, we will have a meditation session for calming our minds and then dine under the night sky.

Day 5 — YOGA + VISIT TO HVAR + DINNER WITH LOCAL FAMILY
After awakening our bodies with our healthy morning routines and cuddling our souls with delicious brunch, we will spend our afternoon exploring Hvar’s patrimony.

We will visit numerous monasteries, the ‘Spanjola’ fortress and some charming Venetian architecture spots.
For tonight’s dinner, we will be hosted by the local family directly in their home.

Day 6 — YOGA + MASSAGE + CLOSING CIRCLE
We will persistently feed our last day on this adventure with our yoga practice and fresh local delicacies.
The afternoon is reserved for free massages and a walk to the famous ‘Palmižana’ beach.

Around the sunset, we will gather for sharing insights into our closing circle ritual. We will finish this retreat experience celebrating the end with a delicious dinner.

Day 7 — RETURN HOME or…
Rejuvenated and recharged, you are ready to get back in the real world.
We will escort you to island Hvar, from where you can decide; or to stay to live in Croatia or to go back to your home.

The food

The food is made of fresh and seasonal ingredients based on Dalmatian traditional recipes. You’ll be delighted with two meals per day, made by local ladies Mila and Jadranka — known in neighborhood islands for their art of cooking as “Two Aprons”.

Meals are mainly vegetarian and vegan, and we offer the option for gluten-free meals. Coffee and tea will be available throughout the day.

Accommodation

The Robinson style vacation house is located on the Pakleni island, 15 minutes boat ride from Hvar island. Surrounding the house is a vast Mediterranean garden with authentic herbs, fig and olive trees. The wild flora garden is equipped with hammocks and deck chairs, making it the ideal place to retreat from urban daily life. From there, you can reach the private beach is just 5 min walk.

The house is ideal for 8 people and consists of a large living room, rustic kitchen, spacious dining room, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a second-floor terrace. Two bedrooms are situated on the ground floor, and the other two are on the upper floor.

At the upper floor terrace is a chilling area where you can peacefully enjoy your refreshments and contemplate the panoramic view of the sea and Split city.

How to get there

Please book your flight to arrive at Split Airport (SPU) or Dubrovnik Airport (DBV). From Split Airport (SPU), you can book a private taxi (around 30 EUR) or take a shuttle bus (8 EUR) to Split. It is 30 minutes long drive to the Split bus station and to the port. From Dubrovnik Airport (DBV), the airport transfers are available for an additional cost of 100 EUR. Feel free to contact Fige Yoga for any questions, they will gladly help you to organize the transfer.

People arriving at similar times or together can be grouped in order to lower the cost of the transfer. Just make sure to let them know your arrival time if and when you request an airport transfer.

From the Split port, take a catamaran to Hvar on Hvar Island. Catamaran to Hvar is one hour and 30 minutes. Feel free to contact Fige Yoga for any questions, they will gladly help you to organize the transfer. People arriving at similar times or together can be grouped in order to lower the cost of the transfer. Just make sure to let them know your arrival time if and when you request an airport transfer.
