Have you ever dreamed about spending a week in the picturesque Croatian region — Istria? Spicing up your stay with a daily Yoga practice with Veronica, a visit to NP Brijuni, SUP Yoga, a dance workshop, and discovering the romantic cities of Motovun and Rovinj.

If you feel this perfect blend of Istria and yoga suits you, then join in! This retreat brings together the beauty of the Istria region and the devotion of a guided daily yoga practice. Istria is known as ‘Terra Magica’ and often compared with Italian Tuscany. Famous for its petite hills with the enchanting medieval hamlets, truffles, vineyards, and abundance of olive groves.

We’ll lodge in a luxury countryside villa with the pool, sauna and Jacuzzi found in a quiet village surrounded by a 2500 m² plot of Mediterranean wild flora.

Vinyasa Yoga is our daily routine but this retreat also includes — National Park Brijuni, stand up paddle sunset tour, a meditation walk, a dance workshop, visiting Pula, Rovinj and Motovun. We will be every day served with seasonal and fresh food made by our in-house Chef.

Retreat schedule

It is a day for settling in your room and having a relaxed time by the pool till dinner.
Welcome dinner with authentic local delicacy will be served in the garden.
After dinner, we will set intentions for the week and have an introduction circle.

After morning refreshment with tea, coffee and fresh juices, you will attend a Vinyasa yoga lesson with Veronica. The lesson takes place on the spacious terrace with a garden view.

Following energizing yoga class, our in-house chef will serve the brunch made of fresh and seasonal delicacies. For the afternoon is planned a meditation walk and meditation along the sea.
After our delicious dinner served in-villa, we will visit Pula city, a well-preserved Roman Amphitheater ‘Arena’, castle ‘Kastel’ and the main square Forum.

Your morning will start in the same way as in Day 2 and the after time is reserved for a half-day trip to NP Brijuni; paradise islands with the open zoo, rich archaeological remains from Roman Empire, and stunning nature.
The dinner will be served in the house once we arrive back.

Repetition is a key to accomplishment; says Sasha!
After your morning yoga routine, you’ll have free time for leisure.

The afternoon is reserved for a contact dance workshop with Lara. This cheerful workshop is done out of simple rules and body movements. Most importantly, it will help you discover your body differently — in relation with others by sharing body weight, touch and awareness of the body movement.

The workshop completes in the pool with deep relaxing techniques of Watsu.
The last touch for a day is — homemade dinner served under the summer night sky.

After invigorating with our morning routine, you’ll have free time till dinner to enjoy leisure activities, like relaxing by the pool, having a massage or simply reading the book and relishing quietness; your choice.

When the summer heat wane, daily rumble quietens and the sea became smoother, we’ll head to the beach to take a ride on paddleboards and float while watching the sunset and perhaps dolphins jumping.
Dinner sweet dinner will be awaiting for us once we come back home.

The 6th day will start with our usual healthy practice.

The afternoon is reserved for a road trip to Istrian ‘pearl’ Rovinj and exploring the charms of its colorful streets and local artist ateliers. Shortly after, we will head north to visit medieval hilltop town Motovun and discover further central Istria’s wonders! Motovun is world-famous for truffles, homemade pasta and excellent vines.

We will have our spot reserved at one of the best local restaurants for a romantic sunset dinner.

… and you’ll live more inspired happily ever after!

The food is prepared from fresh and seasonal ingredients purchased from local farmers. We love to buy ingredients from small farmers and to support the local economy.

Our in-house chef provides two, mainly vegan or vegetarian meals a day — brunches and dinners. Gluten-free options are as well available.  Coffee and tea will be available throughout the entire day.

Guest Reviews

Sometimes, if you’re lucky, you make a “heart” connection with another human being. My mother and I made that connection with Sasha Dakic who led our tour through Croatia. Sasha was very competent in managing the mechanics and details of travel. We always felt well cared for as she anticipated our needs. She was passionate about sharing her country’s history and culture, especially the wonderful food!

A mix of yoga, good food, beautiful scenery, and an experience of freedom. The organizer is a very positive and inspiring person. I would personally recommend this.
