Come and enjoy an Easter yoga retreat over the weekend, the mid-week or the whole week at our Sussex retreat to re-energise and revive after a long winter.
Easter is a wonderful time to give yourself some well-deserved you time after being cooped up indoors during the winter months. The spring equinox has been and gone and the days are getting lighter and it’s time to put that spring back into your step for a new and lighter and brighter you.
Allow the yoga to gently release any tension held in the body or mind from these colder and longer days and feel revitalised with a combination of yoga and meditation, delicious and wholesome food and invigorating walks in the stunning countryside.
Our Spring yoga classes focus on harnessing the prana of all the new beginnings, life and awakening around us. Allow yourself to shrug off Winter and open yourself to the new possibilities Spring offers!
After your silent, meditative walks, Louise will run a gentle, energising flow class in the mornings before breakfast and then a slow meditative yin based practice in the afternoon before dinner. Each practice will include pranayama and meditation. There will also be time each day for journalling if you’d like to join in and she will offer 1-1 yoga therapy/life coaching sessions as an optional paid extra.
Corrina is one of our senior teachers, she is an authentic and thoughtful teacher who strongly believes that yoga is for everyone. In Corrina’s classes you are empowered to listen to and trust your body, she encourages a mindful, inquisitive practice with benefits that extend outside of your yoga class.
In Corrina’s classes you can expect an observant Hatha based practice full of somatic inquiry; using your breath to guide you and reawaken parts of yourself you may have previously forgotten about!
Nutritious and delicious vegetarian food is an integral part of our yoga retreats with an emphasis on warming and nourishing menus. Our food is gently detoxing, is all vegetarian, made without sugar or dairy products and low in wheat and gluten.
There are herbal teas and caffeinated teas/coffee for you to choose, and there’s bread and cow’s milk in the morning if you prefer it, but also soya and almond milk to enjoy.
There are pre yoga snacks to support blood sugar levels. The chef always makes a special porridge for breakfast and there is granola, fruit, yogurt and eggs to enjoy. In the afternoon a wholesome healthy lunch is served and then, after evening yoga, there’s a wonderful 2 course dinner for you.
We bring our own Chefs with us who all have their own individual flair and genius to produce high quality vegetarian dishes. We offer fresh, local, seasonal and nutritious meals.
Our lovely retreat in Stonegate, East Sussex, has a choice of 4 cottages each sleeping 4 guests and all equipped with a cosy living room, spacious kitchen and beautiful views looking out to the outdoor heated swimming pool (May to September) and rolling hills of the High Weald, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Upstairs there is a twin or double room with a shower bathroom en-sute in one room and a bathroom with a bath for the other room. There is plenty of space if you feel like being on your own and the communal space is very sociable so there is something for everyone.
The yoga retreat starts from 5 pm on Friday with an hour before yoga to settle in a start to relax, with the first yoga class starting at 6 pm. The Easter weekend retreat finishes at 11am on Monday 22nd April.
The mid-week retreat starts from 5pm and follows the same schedule as the weekend retreat but with 1 extra day! It finishes at 11am on Friday 26th April.
7.30am: Hot lemon and ginger and protein snacks pre-yoga
8am – 8.30am: Silent walk in the tranquil surrounding countryside
8.30am – 10.30am: Morning yoga and meditation class
10.30am: Healthy nutritious veggie brunch
11:30am -1pm: Massage & free time; read, explore, enjoy the beautiful surroundings
1pm – 3pm : Guided country walk on Saturday. On Sunday relax, read, explore locally, have a massage
3pm: Healthy light lunch
3:30pm – 5.30pm: More treatments to pamper yourself or free time
5.45pm – 7.45pm: Evening yoga and meditation class
7.45pm: Delicious vegetarian 2-course wholesome dinner

How to get here
From London get onto the M25 and then exit onto the A21. It is then about 30 minutes drive from the M25. Once you have booked your place with us we will give you the exact address and post code.
There are trains that run every hour from London Charing Cross, Cannon Street & Waterloo East and they take 1 hr and 10 minutes.
