From our hotel, the view stretches across the lake and embraces the entire beauty of the Julian Alps. Yes, it sounds simple. But there are not many idyllically located hotels that have character.

When you get up from the relaxing couches and enter the outdoor living room in the hotel garden, the nature of Bohinj and the view of the lake will make you feel like you’re watching the best series on Netflix – without subtitles. You will observe and marvel at the drama of the light above the lake between the mountains.

Natural materials, design, cuisine that draws from the local supply chain and traditions. It will be our greatest pleasure to present the best of Bohinj. There are not many oases in the Alps where every taste is satisfied – if you just understand that you simply have to take your time and use our garden beds before our dining chairs.

Rooms

Our interior designers have dedicated a lot of attention to details. The rooms are decorated with carefully chosen materials and a silhouette of the mountains of Bohinj featuring the motive of Mt Triglav, while the views are reflected in the interior ambience.

Hotel Bohinj is the embodiment of the lake and alpine landscape which has given the hotel its name, rich local tradition and history. It is also connected with the four brave men who were the first to climb Mt Triglav – in the park below the hotel a monument dedicated to them constantly reminds us of this tradition.

The views from our rooms are made dramatically striking by the dance of light, colours, reflections, shadows, clouds … It will be difficult to choose a room that you would want to swap, even though you might even have the crazy idea to simply stay in all rooms because each one is unique and offers amazing views.

You can choose from double rooms, double comfort rooms with an option of an extra bed, family rooms, single rooms and a superior room that will amaze you with its own jacuzzi. It’s your choice to make.

All rooms are furnished in a contemporary way and designed for your comfort. You will undoubtedly feel like you’re on vacation at home. Don’t worry about cleanliness. We have everything under control.

Rooms are just a part of the hotel concept. You will be comfortably accommodated in them surrounded by artwork and images of nature, although you can extend the comfort of your bathroom in our wellness area or massage pool in the garden, change the mini bar for your club, or your room service for a culinary experience at the restaurant. You can even swap your bed for a garden bed. We know it’s a lot, but there is never enough relaxing on vacation.

Wellness

We have developed these wellness programs with our own philosophy, where the beauty of nature is connected with alpine air, natural elements and climate.

With the desire to provide a relaxing ambience only persons over 14 years old are allowed to enter the wellness area.

SAUNAS
Finnish and Turkish saunas will cleanse you of your sins and let you relax your pores, so that you can breathe through your skin. After a sauna session, you can cool off with an ice fountain or jump into a massage pool that will gently soothe your grateful body. And you will certainly be revived.

OUTDOOR WHIRLPOOL
Perhaps you can imagine an Olympic pool, where you can swim kilometres, but we have the largest one in Slovenia – Lake Bohinj. On the other hand our hotel pool enables you to just rest in it with eyes half shut while being caressed by the bubbles. Do you still remember how you were tickled when you were a child?

RESTING
And after a sauna, it’s time to rest. You deserve it! Every rest must be continued with another rest. Here, we call it “just another time for oneself” – in our rest area, where you can enjoy the magnificent panorama of the mountains in the background, as refreshing as an ice fountain.

We are here to spoil you and you certainly won’t be disappointed. We know that you also cook well, but now you just have to trust our chefs and their knowledge of seasonal and traditional Slovenian ingredients that are incorporated in contemporary and local food.

The interior, ambience and garden of our restaurant are intertwined in the local stories of products and tradition. Our breakfast buffet has a corner with local delicacies, you can enjoy brunch with a cheese platter or with a glass of homemade smoothie, or indulge in our house desserts or dinner menu in the evening.
