Pure Yoga Retreat in Fuerteventura, 10 – 17 August or 15 – 22 September

This retreat is all about a solid practice. Daily asana practices complemented with workshops where we’ll deepen our knowledge about yoga philosophy, yoga sutras, meditation, breathing and different types of asana practices. We’ll explore the world of meditation and the motive behind each asana category, mudra and breath.

We’ll take you beyond asana integrating all elements of yoga into the practice. Intensive, uplifting morning/sun practices to kick off the day, restorative evening/moon practices and meditations for mental clarity and concentration.

Connect to your inner self, recharge your batteries with fresh, local and organic meals and energising power drinks & snacks. For the complete experience of wellbeing we also add a massage and/ or spa treatment and some fun trips to the list.

Of course you will also have free time, where you can enjoy Fuerteventura’s landscape and its soothing energy. All of this whilst being amongst other practitioners to share your experience with and to make fellow yogi friends for life

We are two teachers and will be teaching most of the classes together, which means, you will always have one instructor to lead the class and the other to adjust, help and observe.

Our yoga practice is a range of styles as we both have studied different types of yoga. We go from Ashtanga, Power, Hot, Traditional Hatha,Vinyasa flow to Yoga Trapeze and Restorative flows.

The Morning practices are more vigorous and challenging in order to create energy or Prana while the afternoon classes focus on more meditative practices as Restorative or Yin yoga. The result is a practice that is physically challenging, and spiritually stimulating.

Cristina’s background and yoga roots lie in California (Power, Bikram, Vinyasa) and Bali, where she could refine her practice and teaching under the guidance of her maestro Octavio Salvado at The Practice Bali that now includes a more traditional mix of asana, pranayama and meditation.

Amelie started her yoga journey in Spain and India, where she was first introduced into the traditional school of Ashtanga Yoga, getting to know the eight limbed yoga philosophy of Pattanjali. In the last few years she has opened her practice and teaching for both dynamic Vinyasa with many playful elements as well as recovering, calming forms like Yin or Trapeze Yoga (YogaBody Barcelona).
