Enjoy a staycation with reduced numbers, lots of single room options and stunning Oxfordshire countryside to escape to. After the year that we have all had, it’s time to re-treat yourself with a healthy, relaxing and stress-busting UK yoga retreat in the Oxfordshire countryside.

August at our Bicester venue is a special treat, as it’s usually a wedding venue so we have a 2-night retreat just for you. With stunning single rooms on offer, beautiful grounds and lots of space inside and outside. Take this time to re-connect to you, to others and share experiences in person instead of online in a safe and healthy way.

We love to share our Bicester retreat venue with you and it is well-loved by our guests for it’s grand, yet incredibly homely feel. Family-owned, it is no surprise it feels cosy yet sumptuous.

After 3 days of yoga (outside weather permitting), healthy vegan food, fresh air, wonderful sleep and socially distanced sharing of life with new faces of people who share the same common interests, feel revived, positive, connected, energised and ready for ‘the next phase’ whatever that may be.


Our accommodation is a beautiful family-owned stately home that has been refurbished to a beautiful standard, staying in keeping with its original features. There are no en-suite bedrooms because of this.

Due to coronavirus, we have reduced our numbers from 18 to 11 guests. We have mostly single rooms, 9 in total and 1 twin room. There are shared bathrooms and we are limiting this to 3 people maximum. You will be designated a bathroom to use and each bathroom will have a cleaning rota throughout the day and cleaned by our team for your utmost safety.

The rooms have a sumptuous, classic feel so you will feel spoilt. Yet it also feels homely so you can completely relax and switch off. They are all spacious, luxuriously decorated in amazing fabrics and have beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

The house has a huge welcoming lounge with cosy sofas and an open fire. The dining room is light and airy with fabulous views of the grounds. There are fascinating paintings and fresh flowers everywhere.

There are a lot of spaces to relax on your own, the living area, the library, the dining room and all rooms are spacious and some have sofas in for ultimate cosiness.


On our Bicester wellness yoga retreat the classes are suitable for all abilities, from beginners to intermediate and advanced levels. Everyone is welcome. We have a range of inspiring and experienced teachers who are well practised at adapting the class for everyone’s level.

Whether it be Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Ashtanga, Sivananda, Yin or others, all classes cover pranayama, asanas and meditation to help increase oxygen flow, balance, clarity and to promote a peaceful mind. Morning sessions are a more dynamic practice and the evening sessions are gentle with lots of stretches, meditation and relaxation.


Amy Williams

Amy’s style of teaching comes from a place of nurturing. She wants you to feel free to explore the capabilities of your own body, respect your boundaries and learn how to heal and protect it.

By blending strong, grounded hatha practises with the freedom found in Scaravelli and vinyasa she believes that each practise can help create the perfect balance between flexibility and stability in both body and mind.


All of our retreat chefs are highly experienced and passionate about their craft. We have always been a vegan / vegetarian company and so expect delicious and creative brunch, lunch and 2 course evening meal. Each meal will have the right balance of protein, vegetables and carbohydrates to keep you energised all day. If not, please ask the chef for more we never like our guests to go hungry!

Mhairi MacLeod is our chef – Originally having grown up in the North-East of Scotland, Mhairi now travels as a plant-based chef and on our retreats she allows the food to complement the atmosphere and the experience that is being offered to the guests.

7.30am: Hot lemon and ginger and protein snacks pre-yoga
8 am: Silent walk in the tranquil surrounding countryside before yoga
8.30am – 10.30am: Morning yoga & meditation class
10.30am: Brunch served of wholesome warming foods and teas
11 am – 5 pm: Free time for walking, 1:1’s, treatments or just relax
2.30pm: Hearty and warming lunch
5.30pm – 7.30pm: Evening yoga & meditation class
7.30pm: Delicious Vegetarian Dinner
10 pm: Bedtime!

How to get here

By Car:
We are near Bicester in Oxfordshire. It takes about 1 hour drive from London. Once you have booked your place with us we will give you the exact address and postcode.

From London Marylebone station to Bicester North it takes 1hr. Book early for cheaper tickets. It is a comfortable, fast service with no changes. For those coming from other directions please time your train to arrive and depart around the same time as the recommended trains from London so that we can organise taxi share. The retreat is only 15 minutes away and costs about £12-£20 depending on the day. We try and group you together to make the taxi a lower cost for you.
