- Experience a journey of self enquiry so you can peel back the layers of your conditioned mind revealing your true nature.
- Learn ancient yogic and Buddhist practices such as mindfulness, meditation, pranayama (breathing practices) mantra and mudra.
- Purify, quieten and empty the mind bringing peace and opening the gateway to your innate wisdom.
- Come into alignment with your essential nature. You’ll be able to begin to fearlessly express yourself through learning how to silence your inner critic.
- Practice learning to trust your intuition through play with self reflection tools such as the language of colour, journaling, and divination arts.
- Design a unique and nurturing personal practice ritual inspired from all that you’ve learned on the retreat. Through guided meditation and an introduction to natural healing practices you’ll create self-care plan that will fully support you to create the life you love.
- Create a powerful vision board complete with supportive affirmations, creative visualisation practices and a dynamic action plan to support you to find the joy within and make the life you love a reality.
These retreats are specifically for women, the reason being that women support one another in a really beautiful way when they are amongst other women. Naturally feeling more understood, they are able to be open and feel connected in one another’s presence.
They inspire a journey back to one’s authentic self, an opportunity to peel back the layers of everything we’re not and to be comfortable with ourselves as we really are. They give us a chance to rebuild, redirect and refocus our lives and shape them as we want them, all from a place of authenticity.
It’s really an inner journey, with less focus on yoga asana and more on self inquiry, mindfulness, psychology and Buddhist practices.

Teacher and retreat leader
The retreat is led by Claudia Jones: BSc (Hons) Psychology, MBPS, Yoga Alliance, Kaivalyadhama
Claudia is the founder and director of The Wellness Source, a company dedicated to empowering women to take charge of their wellbeing; supporting them toward living happier, healthier lives through wellness therapies, coaching, workshops and retreats.
For the past two decades, Claudia has been inspiring and empowering women to take their personal growth to the next level so they can begin living the life they love.
Through her insightful coaching style and compassionate nature, Claudia skilfully guides women through gentle yet powerful processes to re-connect them with their authentic selves and supports them in aligning their outer reality with their true inner nature.
Claudia’s years of experience have given her a profound understanding of the uniqueness of every woman’s journey and this shines through in her ability to individually support every woman on her personal path. For Claudia, seeing a client taking bold steps toward living the life she truly wants to live is the ultimate reward.
With a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a background in complementary therapies, Claudia founded her own successful wellness and yoga centre, The Bay Tree, in the UK in her twenties, which she ran passionately for 5 years.
In her thirties, after several years of travel and study in India (yoga, prananyama, meditation, Ayurveda), she was invited to create and oversee the wellness centre, health programmes and wellness retreats for the internationally renowned yoga and wellbeing resort Samahita Retreat in Thailand. Now in her forties, Claudia leads her Find the Joy Within and Create the Life You Love workshops and retreats internationally.
She has written articles on healthy living, diet and lifestyle for popular websites and magazines and is regularly invited as a guest teacher on yoga teacher training and advanced teacher training courses in Europe, Asia and the UK.
Claudia and her retreat company, The Wellness Source, have been featured in and recommended by numerous publications including Marie Claire, GQ, Net-a-Porter, Your Fitness and Asia Spa Magazine. Claudia lives on the beautiful island of Ibiza in Spain with her artist husband, David. Here she leads regular workshops and retreats as well as throughout Europe, Asia and online.

Set in the beautiful Goan countryside and nestled on a plantation of palms, banana plants and cashew trees, the Goa retreat is held in a quiet hideaway resort a short drive from the beaches of Ashwem and Mandrem.
Located in the heart of resort is the large shala (place for yoga practice) shaded by palms, cashews and other local trees and this is where the main elements of the retreat programme will be hosted. The resort accommodation comprises secluded, individual cottages, each one tucked away and shaded by the dense leafy greenery.
Each cottage has its own verandah with seating area, kingsize bed and an ensuite bathroom equipped with a powerful hot shower. In addition, the superior Temple Suites sit at the top of resort and offer private walk out balconies with panoramic views of the Goan countryside. Each cottage or suite sleeps two people in twin beds or can be upgraded to a private room upon request.

What to pack
So you are best prepared for your holiday here is a list of items I recommend you bring with you:

· Loose comfortable clothing, with layers for the cool mornings and evenings
· Shawl for meditation
· Beach Towel/Sarong (bath towels are provided)
· Refillable water bottle
· Mosquito repellent & after bite remedy
· High factor sun tan lotion
· Wide brimmed hat
· Light jacket in case of cooler evenings
· Rupees for taxi fares, additional therapies and local cafes you may wish to experience while you are here. Can be withdrawn from an ATM locally.
· Travel insurance cover for your holiday – we are unable to act as your insurer.
Location and how to get there
Jivana Goa retreat centre, Dandoswada, Mandrem. Flights to Goa: Some airlines operate direct flights to Goa, for example Thomas Cook Airlines fly direct from London. Another option is to fly into Mumbai, Delhi or another main airport in India and take a connecting flight to Goa. You can search for the best airfare’s using Skyscanner.
Transfer to the Resort: The journey from the airport by taxi is approximately 90 minutes. We recommend you allow us to arrange your transfer by taxi so that you have a driver waiting to pick you and bring you directly to the resort upon arrival. The cost for this is approximately 2000INR/25 EUR
