Are you looking for relaxation, new energy and some time for reflection? These yoga and wellness retreats in Gozo offer a wonderful way to recharge, explore and be filled with inspiration to make new plans!

Gozo, also known as “The Island of Joy”, offers peace, tranquility, 300 days of sun every year and breathtaking nature. The ideal place for outdoor yoga at sunrise while looking at the waves of Qbajjar Bay, hiking over cliffs and through beautiful valleys, meditation by the sea and other recharging activities that make you feel your best.

You can choose to stay in your own private apartment or in a beautiful hotel by the seaside, enjoying healthy food, daily yoga classes, meditation sessions, hiking or other activities in a tailor-made program designed to your needs.

For those who like to do their yoga, meditation and hiking early in the morning and at sunset, book a four night retreat during the summer months.

7-day retreats take place all year round. The sample program for a 7-day retreat looks like this, but you can add other elements into your schedule or skip certain activities.

Arrival days are Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. These retreats have a maximum of 4 participants. Part of your retreat will be group classes where you will meet a maximum of 5 participants.

Quaint Boutique Hotels

Teachers

Monique – Yoga

Monique, originally from the Netherlands is a Yoga Alliance registered teacher, as an E-RYT 200, RYT 500 and YACEP. This means that I continuously educate myself further and I comply with the highest quality standards in yoga education.

Her aim is to make her students feel their best, through yoga and meditation and to share what she has learnt.  She has studied Chakra Yoga, Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga and Meditation and loves to mix elements of all styles together.

Nop – Yoga teacher, retreat manager and hiking guide

Nop is a yoga teacher with a background in physical education. He studied Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga at Arhanta Yoga Ashram in the Netherlands and is registered with Yoga Alliance International.

He combines cardio, strength and flexibility in his work-outs and yoga sessions. He loves to teach outdoors, because being in contact with the elements adds a lot of extra energy to every work-out.

He provides guided tours in which combine hiking around the most beautiful places on the island.
