Join us for a holistic yoga weekend retreat in Devon, located 10 miles inland from the stunning Devon beaches including Woolacombe and Lee Bay.

A serene farmstead steeped in history and character set within 5 acres of woodland and orchards for you to walk around, an organic vegetable garden, private yoga studio, holistic therapy room, and wild and wonderful grounds including a sauna and fire pit.

This retreat is a chance to delve deeper into your truth. Indulge in your sensory awareness, stimulate your innate desire to acknowledge your ‘self’.

Yoga

Enjoy six yoga sessions over the course of the weekend. Each yoga session is a carefully curated combination of asana, pranayama, mudra and relaxation.

Morning sessions will be stimulating and require you to engage with elements of anatomy, philosophy, breath and bodywork. The evening sessions will nourish you with aspects of yin and a slow mindful practice.

Retreat schedule

Friday
Tea and energy balls on arrival – from 3:30pm
Yoga practice 5:15 – 6:45pm
Dinner 7pm

Saturday
Yoga practice 7:30-9:30am.
There is tea/coffee and fruit available from 6:30am.
Breakfast will be served at 9:45am.
Opportunity to do an organised SUP or kayak tour with a picnic lunch.
Yoga practice 5:15-6:45
Dinner at 7pm.

Sunday
Yoga practice 7:30-9:30am.
There is tea/coffee and fruit available from 6:30am.
Breakfast will be served at 9:45am.
Free time to explore local beaches, walk the coastal path, have a massage or treatment.
Yoga practice 5:15-6:45
Dinner at 7pm.

Monday
Monday morning rise and shine YOGA at 7:30-9:30, followed by brunch.
Closing circle and departures between 1-2pm.

Teachers

Alison is a Senior Yoga Teacher and Mentor with over 10,000 hours of teaching experience. She has practiced yoga since 1990 and has a myriad of experiences.

She considers all aspects of yoga both on and off her mat from the physical to the sublime, from the appropriation to the distortion and finally to the complexity and depth of the subject matter.

She believes yoga is entwined in all aspects of life, and she brings this belief alive by sprinkling poetry, storytelling and aspects of nature into her sessions.

Alison cultivates a safe environment on her retreats that offers you the chance for introspection and consciousness.

Cuisine

Locally sourced, ethically produced delicious vegan and vegetarian food.
